You and me
Let's run away
To a land of promise
Where the mountains sway

Where our little hands
Hold each other
Our gaze unbroken
By thoughts affray

Pause a bit, this passing time

And dream a little while

Of moments that live
Drenched in this fantasy
Delirious with the thoughts
Of breaking away

For when we do
time won't exist
To plaque us with finality
Sordid closures
Of reality
